Talks over Liverpool’s Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerquez is now understood to be at a high level. Catch off side sauce.
It is also understood that Chelsea had kept in touch by signing Kerkez, but he now feels that he just wants to move to Anfield.
The Hungarian International’s moves have not yet been confirmed, but talks are moving quickly and in a positive direction.
I imagine it won’t be too long now until Liverpool is able to announce both Kerquez and new right-back Jeremy Fripon as the first two signatures of the summer transfer window.
Still, don’t forget there’s still one final game in the Premier League. So before you think too much about the transfer window, you might want to know how to buy a ticket for Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace.
Liverpool replaces both fullbacks in major summer shakeups
This year, we seem busy this year due to a much busier summer at Anfield than Arne Slot’s first year.
Federico Chiesa was the only new arrival period, but there was also a deal for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili to join, even if Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili stayed in his final season.
But now Trent Alexander Arnold has left and replaced by Frimon, while Kerkez appears to be able to take Andrew Robertson’s place to the starting line.
What other Liverpool transfers are there?
It certainly isn’t everything that changes in the LFC this summer.
Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota are also chasing after him, as he struggles to perform, big speculation about Darwin Nunes has been struggling to perform for a while.
Also, Caoimhin Kelleher could not reach the first XI past Alisson and may proceed to find more play time as he faces more competition in the next Mamardashvili.
So, Liverpool’s lineup, which is trying to maintain their Premier League title, can see a very different lineup next season from Liverpool. Only time can tell if it’s going to be too many changes at once or if it’s the right amount to improve things and keep things fresh.
Thank you to the Reds supporters. The club was able to at least hold star duo Mohamed Sarah and Virgil van Dyke on new contracts.
