Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly one of the suitors for the relocation of Brentford Central Defender and club captain Nathan Collins.
Republic of Ireland International shines while working with the bees and was recently given the captain’s armband after Christian Norgaard moved to Arsenal.
But now, Brentford is facing more disaster as Collins is being sought by Liverpool, Man Utham and Tottenham, according to the Daily Mail.
The report suggests that United will need to sell players first, so Collins may have issues with its availability.
This should not be a problem for Liverpool, who have already done well to win cash this summer with Darwin Nunes, Louis Diaz and Khaoimhin Keleher.
Nathan Collins to win a big transfer by the end of the summer?
Collins is working well for Brentford and it will be interesting to see if he can step up to a bigger club this season.
But it’s not ideal for Brentford. They had already lost summers in the summer, losing Brian Mbemo, Norgaard and manager Thomas Frank.
They certainly can’t afford to lose Collins, but the 24-year-old clearly has many admirers.
It will be interesting to see who can move to the pole position for Collins’ signature.
Which club should Collins choose between Liverpool, United and Spurs?
Collins managed to do well to chase former manager Frank to Tottenham, but he also certainly had the key role he played for Liverpool and United.
Arne Slot’s LFC side has recognized many goals at the preseason and the start of the campaign against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, so it could have a key role for Anfield’s Collins.
Meanwhile, United can now do it at more depth in that position, as Harry Maguire and Mattigis de Liguto and others aren’t entirely convincing.
