Liverpool striker Darwin Nunes has been linked to leave the club and is ready to join the player at the end of the season.
Liverpool is ready to leave the club, 25-year-old Uruguay and internationally, to free up space for potential income, according to reports from Football Insider.
Liverpool is about to sign a quality left back, right back, central defender, holding midfielder and striker at the end of the season.
It remains to be seen whether they will be able to find a suitable destination for South American strikers. They paid £85 million to sign the player from Benfica, but he couldn’t live up to expectations. He has seven goals and seven assists in all competitions this season. These numbers aren’t enough for teams hoping to win the league title and the Champions League.
Liverpool should invest in quality strikers, and they identified Newcastle United star Alexander Isaac as a key target. However, strikers could cost around £150 million over the summer, and Liverpool will have to raise funds by selling some of their fringe players.
Darwinnes needs a new start
Nunes was not a regular Liverpool starter either. At this stage of his career, he needs to play more frequently. Leave the Premier League club is ideal for him. It would be interesting to see where he ends up going.
He was considered one of the world’s best young strikers during his time at Benfica, but the move to Liverpool didn’t work for him. Perhaps a fresh start will bring out the best of him once again.
