Stephen Gerrard is perhaps the most influential and Liverpool affiliate of the 21st century, and its reputation will not move.
Maybe Trent Alexander Arnold maintained his chance to get his hero away from the top spot, but he would have to devote his entire career to his boyhood club to achieve this, and instead signing Real Madrid on a 26-year-old free transfer.
The torrent decision will enhance the situation happening on both Liverpool’s defenses. Thirty-one year old Andy Robertson still remains in his deal for a year, but this term has seen its influence and security decline, with heirs being considered before the transfer window.
Despite the challenges Liverpool faced at left-back, Cody Gakupo still managed to move from left-wing strength to strength, which he has, but there was no desirable flow of creative support.
Cody Gakpo season count
It’s interesting that despite Robertson’s creative output diminished, Gakupo should have hit his smoothest path with a Liverpool shirt this season.
This doesn’t mean the left back has completely lost his way, but there’s no doubt that things have been removed from the notch. Although that’s not true for Gakpo, his efforts this year led to a return of 17 goals and six assists in all competitions, including 29 starts.
The wise and dynamic grooves of the fundamentals led Jurgen Klopp to play the Dutch in a wide range of roles last season, but Arne Slott shaved fat from Gakupo’s game and limited himself to left flank scoring mandates.

It paid dividends, and critics Joe Cole and Peter Crouch agree that he “takes another level” with the tactical setup of the countryman.
According to FBREF, the 25-year-old is one of the top 5% of midfielders and wingers who have been attacking beyond Europe’s top five leagues in the past year due to non-penalty goals scored over 90 people, highlighting slot success by cutting his clinical edge into something sharp and deadly.
Robertson is still in his role, vivid and has a close connection with Virgil van Dyke, but Liverpool is ready to sign an upgrade that can take Gakupo to the next level.
Liverpool is chasing a new left back
Following TeamTalk updates, Liverpool are ready to deal with the left-back conundrum after Robertson’s up and down seasons, after Bournemouth’s Milo Squelquez is at the top of his shopping list.
This is one that FSG considers completely, as Cherry, who is seeking Europe, is ready to sell at figures of the hundreds of 45 million people aged 21.
However, Kerkez is a modern fullback of the prototype, making the slot system much better.
Imagine Gakpo & Milos together
Gakpo is primarily a scorer, but he is also an impressive advance in physicality, causing problems with his enemies, getting stuck in duels and dribbling.
Kerkez takes his game to the next level.
The Bournemouth guy may be young, but he has given him quite a name over the past year, posting two goals and five assists this year in the Premier League, creating eight big opportunities according to his sofa score, earning 60% of his duels on the ground, and averaged 4.5 balls per game recovery.
Also ranked in the top 14% of English top flight fullbacks, this semester has progressive carry around 90 per 90, and Hungarian International has a burner that puts pressure on the enemy before him, allowing Gakupo to find a better position in time and space and further raise his goals for next year.
Robertson, who failed to register goal contributions in this year’s league, averaged 0.2 dribbling per game, one every five games, in the evening.
Luckily, Gakupo stepped up and produced the goods, winning an impressive 56% of his duel on the ground, completing 60% of his dribbling, and according to Sofa Scole, he missed six big opportunities in the Premier League and changed nine strikes.
There’s something young and hungry behind him, and proves with a common thorn on the side of his opponents, Kerkez is exactly what Liverpool need, and has already been chosen as the “machine” by Sky Sports’ Izzy Christensen for his tireless and unfailing performance.
Kerkez’s strengths as an offensive fullback are exactly what slots need, perhaps showing a football style that Robertson could match and even rise with his dignity, but his father’s time was creeping up to the Scottish skipper after years of gluer service at Liverpool.
While Robertson needs to maintain his position in the Liverpool squad (which means he needs to sell Costas Tsimika), Kerquez should realize he will be in his first choice spot, completing his defenses and restoring much needed creativity to a wider position, he also drives Gappo’s journey even further.
Athletic and adventurous, Kerquez has been fascinated by Bournemouth this season. This was a central part of Andenii Laora’s efforts, and was able to secure its position on the continent, perhaps in the history of Vitality Stadium.
However, Liverpool needs a new left back and he fits the bill. Kerquez will lower such pace and potency to the channel, taking Gakupo’s game to the next level, ensuring that the slots hit the perfect balance that can protect the Premier League crown.
