Liverpool is expected to make major team changes this summer, one of these being in the striker position. Darwinnes, nine with big money numbers, has been struggling since arriving from Benfica three years ago, and now it’s time to finish Anfield’s stay.
Nunez has been a bit of a part-time player since Arne Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp as manager last summer, with Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo being used before him at strikers at various stages of the season. And this has caused dissatisfaction with Uruguay International, which has made the idea of leaving Liverpool very warm.
Nunes has linked to many clubs during the season, one of them in Newcastle, targeting Liverpool’s Alexander Isaac for the book, but the chances of any deal have hit rocks in recent weeks.
Darwinnes is ready to leave Liverpool this summer
Nevertheless, Nunez is highly anticipated to leave Liverpool during the summer transfer period, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
“The plans have been clear from February and have not changed. Darwin Nunes was expected to leave Liverpool in the summer. After the club turned down from Al Nasr in January, all options will be considered in the coming months.
“Darwin, it’s also open to a new chapter.”
Seven goals and five assists that have played for 42 clubs this season are not the returns Liverpool wants from No. 9. So it’s not surprising that they are extremely enthusiastic about getting rid of Nunes in the summer. A 25-year-old should have many suitors, which allows Premier League leaders to spend so much money to ensure the service of the exchange.
