Things aren’t good for FC Bayern at Winger Front.

The Bayern giants are understood to be troubled by reinforcing their left flank this summer before Leroy Sane leaves for a free transfer.

German International is set to join Turkish giant Galatasarei, and the Bundesliga champions will have a bit of options left.

Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens are two names on the Bayern Munich list. However, both players appear to be set up to participate in rival costumes on the European stage.

It wasn’t a particularly successful day for Max Eberl (the director of Sport) and Christoph Freund (Sporting Director).

Chelsea and Barcelona made concrete moves with both Giten and Williams, respectively. Sources close to the club have confirmed that at this stage the duo is most likely to complete a permanent relocation.

Bayern may target Liverpool Wingers Cody Gakupo and Luis Diaz

The quality options available in the market have been shrinking this summer, forcing Bayern to look at the Premier League.

Liverpool currently has a wealth of left-wing talent to appeal to Max Ebal. In fact, Christian Faulk has now revealed to catch-offside that Cody Gakupo in particular is the “personal favourite” of Bayern chief.

Lewis Diaz has also been praised in the Sevener Strasse Hall of Fame.

“Max Ebal should already be looking for an alternative candidate for the wing. For example, Cody Gakupo from Liverpool could be back on the radar.” A Bundesliga reporter said.

“Players are said to be Ebal’s personal favorites.

“After the initial discussion with Gakpo, I hadn’t had any contact with the agent recently. That could change again soon. Teammate Lewis Diaz will also remain a candidate.”

The pair had 35 goals and 15 assists in all previous tournaments.

Specifically, it certainly understands why Gakpo will be prominently gaining Arne Slot’s target contribution rate in 2024/25 to appeal to FC Bayern’s recruitment team.

Can the usual first-team role prospects intriguing Dutchman enough to say goodbye to the Premier League champions? I can’t see that yet.

Also, there are potentially troublesome questions about the asking price. Cody Gakpo remains in its current deal (overdue summer 2028) for three years and is a solid favorite of Slot’s.

Liverpool doesn’t want to push the left winger out the door this summer. It’s not without the player’s wishes and substantial transfer fees.
