Liverpool is looking to replace Darwinnes after another disappointing season by signing a new striker this summer.
The Uruguayan attacker has struggled to perform at Anfield since joining the company from Benfica.
There is a general belief that despite the Reds winning a league title this season, there is a general belief that new attackers will be needed to lead the offensive line next season.
New attackers are expected to arrive at Anfield this summer as Nunes is likely to leave the club after raising interest from Saudi Arabia.
Liverpool is exploring the moves of new strikers
Brighton’s Joa Opedro is one of the players linked to the move to Anfield to replace Nunes.
However, football expert Ally McCoist, who is talking about Talksport, advised Liverpool to try his luck and try and sign Bayern Munich attacker Harry Kane.
The British striker, who scored 38 goals this season for the German Giants, has won the Bundesliga title this season, his first major trophy of his career.
The attacker settles in Germany and is about to continue the successful spell there, but the Premier League champion has been told to check if it is possible to sign him this summer.
“Harry Kane, I’m going to tell you now and test the water with him and test it. I’ll really do that. How many points is he scoring in Liverpool?” McCoist mcoist.
Co-host Jeff Stelling mentioned how Kane is happy in Germany, but McCoist added:
“I got it, I don’t think I have any doubts about it, but I’ll tell you what will break Alan Shearer’s records and make him happy.”
It is clear that the Reds need a new, trusted attacker who can score goals and help Mohamed Sarah.
Most of the burden of scoring goals at the Merseyside club is down only to Sarah, and he needs assistance next season.
Has Harry Kane returned to the Premier League?
After breaking the trophy drought, Kane was able to consider returning to the Premier League and becoming part of a successful project like Liverpool.
They can offer him the opportunity to challenge top football honors, while also offering him the opportunity to break Alan Shearer’s temporary goalscoring record in the UK.
The Tottenham legend will upset many people in North London when he moves to Liverpool, but at this point in his career, it may be the best move.
