Liverpool will be interested in signing at the end of the season, according to Fichajes, athletic club Bilbao midfielder Mikel Jauregizer.
The 21-year-old stands out in his LA La Liga outfit and was impressed in the Spanish and Europa Leagues. He scored an impressive goal against Manchester United in the Europa League and his performance was very impressive.
Jauregizar was praised for Manchester United as “great.”
He has the physicality and technical attributes that will do well in the Premier League, and Liverpool hopes to sign him in the summer. It remains to be seen whether the Reds will be able to make the deal.
Liverpool needs midfield depth
It’s no secret that they need more depth in the middle of the park, and the 21-year-old adds physicality, defensive covering, and sideways control.
Liverpool is overly dependent on Ryan Gravenburch and Alexis Mac Alistair. On top of that, they should appear to bring about an upgrade to Wataru End. Japan International struggles with regular match times, and Liverpool needs a reliable defensive midfielder.
Liverpool can use Mikel Jauregizar
Jauregizar will help protect defensive units and disband the opposition’s offensive moves. The 21-year-old averages 90 minutes (2.6) tackle compared to Gravenberch (1.9), who played as a defensive midfielder this season.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool will come forward with an offer to sign him. The Spanish club is hoping to bring him into a new contract. What players will decide is yet to be known. He still has no reason to leave the boys’ club. Liverpool needs to persuade him.
They are one of the largest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to participate in them is exciting for most players. It is still unknown what will be decided for the 21-year-old.
