Liverpool will not sell Ibrahima Conate in the final weeks of their summer transfer period. Daily Mail.
The Premier League champion is in discussion with Crystal Palace by signing England International Central defender Marcguech on a £35 million deal.
Liverpool is also about to sign Giovanni Leoni from Palma.
Despite the potential deal between Guehi and Leoni, Liverpool will not sell Konate, which has been halted with a Premier League club next summer.
The report’s Daily Mail stated: “Liverpool is not planning to sell this window despite working on the two centre-back moves.
“The Premier League club is working on a contract between Giovan Nileoni and Marcguegi of Palma at Crystal Palace, but Conate is the key to planning a new season.
“Real Madrid is wary of Konate’s situation as they will reflect on signing him as a free agent next year if Liverpool fails to agree to the new terms. Other European clubs are also monitoring the development of the 26-year-old.”
