Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott is reportedly unhappy with the lack of games at the club, but he rarely pushes for the exit this summer.
According to a Football Insider report, he is disappointed with the amount of game time he has received this season. The players have not yet started Liverpool’s Premier League games this season.
While 22 years old is definitely a young talent with a bright future, he needs to play more often to get his career back on track. Elliott has four goals in his name this season, showing that he has the quality that will affect the game in the final third with his passing, vision and technical ability.
He has tried to change team goals and assist Liverpool this season. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool is ready to offer him more opportunities for the rest of the campaign. There were rumours that he could be sold to raise money in the future. Clubs like Newcastle United are keeping an eye on his situation.
Harvey Elliott needs more opportunities
He needs to play regularly to meet his incredible potential. The player has received high praise in Europe, and he is described as a “special talent” by former Liverpool star Neil Meller.
Liverpool needs to give him more opportunity if he wants to hold onto him in the long run. Sitting on the bench of a big club is unlikely to benefit his development. Midfielders are desperate for more opportunities. It is still unclear how things will develop for next season.
The 22-year-old can manipulate either side of the game, and he’s versatile enough to slot into the role of a midfielder on the offensive. He is definitely a very useful player for the club, but he hopes to start the game regularly now.
