Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Harvey Elliott’s loan spell at Aston Villa. TBR.
Elliott joined Villa on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2025 and the Villans are obligated to make his contract permanent next summer if certain conditions are met.
However, the winger has struggled to get playing time for the Villains and last season’s Premier League champions Liverpool are monitoring the situation closely.
Journalist Graham Bailey said: “Villa insist Elliott is part of their plans, but it’s clear things are not going well.”
“He came in with a built-in obligation, but in theory he could come back.
“We may not have seen the last of Elliott at Anfield. They also have a buy-back scheme and Liverpool put that in place because they value him very highly.”
“But as things stand, Liverpool have a strong belief that he will be an Aston Villa player and be successful for them. But it is safe to say that we are monitoring the situation closely.”
