The epic Eastern Conference Final Matchup awaits between two teams with past and recent history.
An Eastern Conference Finals matchup has been set up, with the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers both causing semi-final disruptions.
The Pacers destroyed the top-seeded Cavaliers 4-1, but the Knicks had already begun the course to beat the defending champion Boston Celtics before Jason Tatum’s injury.
And then, in a callback to last year’s strange WWE conflict, Pacer and Knicks stars Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson head over to their heads.
In June 2024, Pacers star Tyreece Halliburton made a surprising appearance on WWE SmackDown alongside Logan Paul.
Halliburton played to upset the New York crowd and was shining about the Pacers’ 4-3 Eastern Conference semi-final victory in May 2024.
The Pacers star was shocked when NBA rival Jalen Brunson jumped out to cheer from fans.
The two teased the conflict, and Branson even carried a steel chair in the ring, but in fact they didn’t put their fingers on each other, playing the crowd in an unusual and unexpected segment that had never been followed up until now.
The WWE Clash, which was unknown at the time, was a small teaser of an epic series that you can look forward to at the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals.
Tylese Halliburton has been a real superstar throughout the NBA playoffs so far, making whispering ocks that call him “overrated.”
Logan Paul has confirmed that WWE rivals will draw a perfect circle and send a message to Tyrese Halliburton.
Paul wrote: Tagged “Complete the Story” and tagged Halliburton, ripping off the famous quest of fellow wrestler Cody Rhodes to win the WWE title.
Meanwhile, the WWE Star, who accompanied Jalen Brunson in the LA Night ring, made predictions for the series.
He posted on X: “Six New York Knicks. Yeah,” tagged Branson.
There is a lot of recognition of their “feud,” and ESPN has produced WrestleMania-style graphics to hype the match.
WWE reposted the video with the message “The only @NBA Eastern Conference Final Preview required.”
The two stars are perfectly deserving of a spotlight moment, and as leaders of their respective teams, they step up to encourage accusations for the finals. Branson and Halliburton are two of the most emotional and consistent players throughout the playoffs.
They only get their big moments, which starts in New York and has a home advantage in the series that the 3-seeded Knicks are looking forward to.
The performances provided by the two players so far indicate that we are participating in a huge series. Branson leads Halliburton’s 17.5 with points per game at 28.8.
However, the Pacers Star was more efficient in terms of rebounds, assists, steel, blocks and field goal percentages, and only needed 10 games to reach the final.
