Glasgow Rangers legend Brian Loudrup has called his former GERS teammate “one of the best players in the world,” revealing how high he thought while together at Ibrox.

Loudrap is still remembered with great affection from GERS supporters.
The midfielder was a great viewing pleasure at Ibrox in the 1990s, spending four years with the Rangers between 1994 and 1998, dodging himself to fans.
Loudrap has admitted he has scored 45 goals in 151 appearances for the Scottish Premiership Giants, almost unbeatable in Scotland’s games at the time, and loves to play for the GERS team, which won the title under Stephen Gerrard in 2021.
“I wanted to play with that team. The style of play they have today is great to see. It’s all about owning the ball, not saying my Rangers team was actually a long ball team that was far from it, but now the 97 teams had a lot of top football players, as they do with this team, perhaps with a younger team.
Loudrap had a great time in his Rangers’ spell, including the small issue of winning three Scottish League titles and winning two Player of the Year awards. He also played with some amazing football players.

Gascoin’s life after football is well documented, and many personal issues have sadly influenced him, but we must never forget what great player the great player he was at his peak.
The former England star is a complete midfielder in many ways, combining skill, power, intelligence and leadership, and the way his personality rubbed the people around him is almost comparable.
Laudrup and Gascoigne enjoyed many special times together and were beautifully linked on the pitch. And you wonder what Russell Martin will do with his current team in their Prime.
