Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is looking at the third victory of the season when they faced Kolkata Night Rider (KKR) In the 21st match of IPL 2025. The game is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (April 8th) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Lucknow’s Super Giants won two of their first four games and are currently in the lower half of the points table. They will gain much needed momentum as they aim to win in the upcoming games.
The Lucknow-based outfit launched its campaign in a defeat against the Delhi Capitals. In the second match of the season, Lucknow’s Super Giants hit Sunrise’s Hyderabad and returned to victory. However, they suffered losses again in the third game, and the Punjab Kings defeated them with eight wickets.
LSG bouncing back again in his final match with a thrilling 12-run victory. They have not been able to win two games this season in a row and are keen to win any upcoming matches.

Aiden Marklum and Mitchell Marsh are set to be openers for the Lucknow Supergiants, who will play 11 in upcoming games. They got off to LSG a solid start from the bat in their last game, and are looking at similar performances in upcoming games.
Marsh came out with all his guns burning and defeated 60 runs from just 31 balls to help the Lucknow Super Giants get off to a victory start. Markram was also able to ease the pressure with a timely 50. The South African star recorded 53 runs from 38 balls.
Medieval: Nicholas Polan, Rishab Pants (C&WK), Ayu Badoni, David Miller, Abdul Samad,
Nicholas Forlan had a rare disability with bats. After scoring two 50’s and scores over 40 in the first three matches, Fourlan had appeared on 12 runs against the Mumbai Indians. Left-handed people will consider making corrections to the KKR.
Rishabh Pant is eager to turn things around after enduring yet another mistake with the bat in the final game. The Lucknow Super Giants won the match, but their captains were unable to lead the team from the frontline. Pants were out of six balls and are trying to do well against KKR.
Ayush Badoni and David Miller scored 30 and 27 runs respectively, playing key knocks for the Lucknow-based outfit. Meanwhile, Abdul Samad has failed to deliver with bats, but is expected to hold his spot in LSG play.
