Tottenham Hotspur enters a new era during the 2024/25 campaign, with Thomas Frank being the latest manager and looking to achieve success in North London.
Dane took the reins as Lily White’s boss after a successful seven-year career with Brentford, achieving an impressive 43% win rate.
However, he has demonstrated that he can get the opportunity to work with greater funds across the capital and succeed in the Premier League with shoelaces.
He also shows that players can develop into top-level talent. Brian Mbeumo and Yoan Wissa are advertised in the big money moves between the windows.
Both are linked to reunion with the former Spurs boss, but neither is expected to join the club.
Latest new additions on Spurs hunting this summer
Mohamed Kudus is the player who made his nominee list this summer after a £505 million agreement was hit by the West Ham United star, according to Athletics David Ornstein.
Ademola Lookman was considered a Ghanaian alternative, but after scoring 20 times in all competitions in 2024/25, the Atalanta star could be available for £50 million.
But their attention appears to have been directed at Fulminence star John Arias, a player whose ranks received much praise, according to the Spanish outlet.
They claim that Lily White is planning to file an offer for the next 27 years old and is currently valued at the 25 million euro (£2 million) mark by her Brazilian outfit.
His current employer also said that after being impressed at the Club World Cup, he may find it difficult to hold an attacker between this window.
Why is the Spurs’ £20 million goal a better signature than eze?
Crystal Palace Star Ebekieze is a player who has been on the Spurs radar over the past few summers, but there has never been an agreement on his service.
The 27-year-old could see the window eventually join Lily White, potentially causing a £608 million release clause in his current contract at Selhurst Park.
However, after registering 26 goals and assists last season 26 times, the competition for his signature was very high, with North London rivals Arsenal also taking part in the England International race.
Mikel Arteta’s side now appears to be leading the race to land the attacking midfielder.
Arias is one of the players currently in sight, and the Colombian star owns a very similar skill set.
Labeled “magic” by Athletic Oliver Kay, the Fulminence star shows his ability to register a more progressive carry than Eze around 90, register a carry in the final third, and put the ball into a dangerous area.
Once in such areas he has the ability to post high shots with target accuracy and complete the attack himself, as seen with a higher tally of passes in the final third of 90 years.

His all-round dominance over the Palace star is further reflected in his higher aerial success and pass completion rates, and his skill set provides a real threat to the entire Premier League backline if he participates.
Given the differences in statistics, it is clear that Arias will be a great addition to Frank’s side, giving Dane the talent and depth he wants in such a division.
The statistics are just one selling point, but the fact that he can get close to £50 million cheaper is another major factor in any move, allowing him to make his name in North London from 2025/26.
