Manchester United are keen to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa at the end of the season.
According to Fichajes, Red Devils are willing to pay a premium to get the deal done. They reportedly prepare a bid for the young midfielder for 80 million euros (£69.5 million), and it remains to be seen whether Aston Villa is ready for sale. Manchester City is keen to sign players as well, and it is still unclear where players will end.
Rodgers has been an important player for Aston Villa since joining the club and he certainly is enough to play for a big club. Manchester United need more cutting edge in the final third, and the 22-year-old could prove to be an ideal acquisition. He can operate in a wide area as well as a central offensive midfielder. He adds goals and creativity to the aspects.
He is likened to former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and is labelled “great.”
The 80 million euro offer is substantial and it remains to be seen whether Aston Villa is being seduced to sanction his departure. They are trying to build a scary team that can fight for the trophies and compete in the Champions League regularly. They wouldn’t want to lose one of their best offensive players.
Morgan Rogers is outstanding
Rogers is still quite young and he only improves through coaching and experience. He was able to develop into a top-class Premier League player in the coming season. It’s fair to assume that Aston Villa wants to hold him.
The midfielder has 14 goals and 12 assists in his name this season. His numbers could improve when he plays for a better team. Manchester United have a track record in developing young players and has been able to help him realize his incredible potential.
