Man United is clearly interested in Brighton midfielder Carlos Valleva, but it’s easier to sign him than he says. Trades in 2025 may seem difficult, but that’s not impossible.
Earlier this week, Man United was reported to be ready to move on from Valeva after a strong attitude towards Brighton’s players. The Old Trafford Club brings Matthew Scuña, Brian M Beumo and Benjamin Sesco for a total of £200 million and cannot afford to spend much as they have not brought in.
However, there is a possibility that Baleba can be reconsidered later this month, but only in certain circumstances.
Man United must sell before signing Carlos Valleva
According to a soccer insider, Pete O’Rourke has revealed that Man United can afford to sign Valeva this summer if they will make lots of sales in the coming weeks.
“United has already reached out through intermediaries to see if there is a possibility that a deal could happen. Cost, price tag, that looks like a difficult deal.
“They went out and spent a lot on these three new forwards, but they haven’t sold any of the ‘bomb squads’ yet. Marcus Rashford has borrowed it, but Ghanacho, Antony and Jadon Sancho are still there.
It remains to be seen whether Man United will be able to offload things like Garnacho, Sancho and Antony, but given that could lead to Valeva being brought to Old Trafford, they will be even more desperate to get them out of the book.
