Manchester United is reportedly open to selling striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer and could accept an offer of around £50 million.
The decision explores the possibility of bringing the Danes back into Serie A amid growing interest from Italian clubs, particularly Juventus.
Signed by Atalanta for £72 million in 2023, Hojlund is struggling to meet his expectations at Old Trafford.
In the 2024-25 season, he managed only eight goals in 43 appearances.
His lack of progress under manager Reuben Amorim led the club to rethink his role in planning for the future.
The attackers are given plenty of chances in the team under former manager Erik Ten Hag and current manager Amorim.
Former Man United Chief Scout Mick Brown feels that the player is most likely ready to leave the club this summer and United are ready to accept the cut price offer for him.
“There was a lot of interest, especially from Italy.” Brown told Soccer Insider.
“Man United was on the plunge, but it never happened to him here, but it hasn’t stopped interest from some of the other clubs.
“They believe they can bring back what they saw in him in the first place.
“Juventus I heard was one of those clubs and they like what he was playing in Italy.
“It’s a transaction that only happens when it’s suitable for them, and I’m not sure it will.
“United looks to put up with £50 million for the amount he spent on him, but he would be shocked if the team were willing to pay it.
“But he doesn’t seem to have many futures here, so if a good offer comes, they may take it.”
Man United need a proven goal scorer
The club appears to have lost the patience of the attackers, and they are ready to sign a new striker this summer. He is someone who can make an impact right away after joining a club.
Hojlund is not yet a completed article, and his lack of experience and his poor form in front of goals have led to key points for the Red Devils this season.
Ipswich town attacker Liam Dellup is one of the strikers looking to the Premier League giants during the summer transfer period.
Juventus attacker Dusan Vlahovic is another striker that could be offered to the Premier League side in Hozilund’s potential swap deal.
