According to TeamTalk, Manchester United have appeared in the market for new centre-forwards and reportedly had a discussion with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Reuben Amorim is aiming to bolster his offensive options next season and has already signed wolves Matthew Cunya.
The Red Devils are also linked to Brentford’s Brian Mbeumo’s movement, to increase the firepower they attack.
The Vlahovic camp began contact and arranged a meeting with representatives from Man United.
Dusan Vlahovic is open to travel to Man United
The 25-year-old Serb striker is understood to be keen on his transition to the Premier League, showing a clear change in his ambition. United have gathered information and listened carefully, although no formal bids have yet to be made.
Interest in Vlahovic arrives amid United’s continuous search for reliable centre forwards.
The club’s attention lies in other targets like Viktor Gyoker, who remain high on their wish list, but Vlahovic now stands as an alternative to Red Devils if they miss another target.
United have freely left their willingness to revisit the conversation, especially if the current striker is on sale or if negotiations for other targets stall.
Other clubs such as Nottingham Forest, AC Milan and Fenerbafe are reportedly monitoring the situation for Vlahovic as United’s interest has been confirmed.
Reuben Amorim doesn’t trust his current striker
Vlahovic is a consistent scorer in Serie A and can lead head-on.
His desire to play for England gives United additional leverage if they move forward.
If Gyoker or other top targets moves break down, United could attract Vlahovic more seriously.
Already signing Cunha and looking for another attacker, this means that Amorim is not confident in his current options like Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
Filip Kostic, a Juventus teammate of Vlahovic, called him “the most powerful striker in the league.”
