Manchester United attacker Antony has linked his exit from the club during the summer transfer, and he is exploring the move.
Fabrizio Romano said the 25-year-old will not be staying at Manchester United next season and is now “exploring movement.”
He was loaned out at Real Betis late last season, and he was outstanding in his La Liga outfit. He scored nine goals for them and also five assists. He was extremely important in running to the finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The real Betis wants to sign him
The Spanish outfit wants to sign him forever, but his wages are a sticking point. It remains to be seen whether the parties will be able to trade in the coming weeks.
Antony must join a club that he plays regularly. He is a precious member of the Real Betis team and it would be ideal for him to return to La Liga’s outfit. He enjoyed playing football with them late last season and it makes sense to join them.
Man United must sell Antony
Manchester United paid him a lot of money, but the move didn’t work. It would be ideal for them to cash out to players. They need to reduce the losses for Brazilians and move on. It will be interesting to see if they can bring high quality alternatives.
The last third lacks depth and quality. Signing the right attacker can help them bounce hard after a disappointing campaign. They finished last season at the bottom half of the table. Their height clubs should be consistently fighting for domestic trophies in search of Champions League qualification.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will be able to insert a gap on their side over the coming weeks.
