Jadon Sancho’s name has been reverted to the Manchester United conversation, but Old Trafford’s dressing room reportedly doesn’t see him as a part of their future.
The 25-year-old winger left United last summer and joined Chelsea on loan during the season. If the Blues finished in the top 14 in the Premier League, the Blues were obliged to sign forever.
However, the report now suggests that Chelsea have the option to break that contract, but if they do so, they will cost a penalty fee of 6 million euros (£5 million).

With Sancho’s future in the air, there is growing uncertainty about whether Chelsea will promise to keep him beyond this season. His performances were inconsistent, with only nine goals in 28 appearances in all competitions.
His latest form, Sancho, has not registered goals or assists in his last 12 matches.
Even if Chelsea decides to sign him forever, his return to Manchester United appears not to be the case. According to Manchester Evening News, the Man United team’s key figures are “not enough” to play for Sancho at the level that is needed.
While players reportedly have no personal issues, questions have arisen about whether they can handle the pressure and demands of playing for the Red Devils.

This could mean that Sancho is looking for a new destination, and Borussia Dortmund has been mentioned as a potential option.
The German club, where Sancho enjoyed the best spells of his career, may be forced to offload some of his offensive talents like Jamie Bino Gitens and Karim Adeemi due to interest from other clubs. If that happened, Dortmund could consider revising Sancho to his third stint.
For now, Sancho’s fate remains uncertain. Chelsea have the power to decide whether to stay or go, but if they let him leave, he has to find a club that is willing to get him the opportunity. Whether it’s another European giant or a fresh start elsewhere, it’s something we haven’t seen yet.
