Manchester United are interested in signing sports CP striker Viktor Gyoker, but they know that players want to join Arsenal instead.
The 27-year-old has linked his move to the Premier League in recent months, and it will be interesting to see if Arsenal can get the deal done.
Mick Brown told Football Insider:
“He obviously wants to be at Arsenal, whether that happens or not.”
Gyoker can transform both teams
He would be an exceptional acquisition for both clubs. He is a prolific goal scorer for the Portuguese outfit, scoring 54 goals last season. Both teams need reliable goal scorers, and Swedish international fits their profiles. He was able to transform them with attacks and help them push the main trophies.
The fact that he wants to join Arsenal would hit Manchester United hard. They are already working on alternative targets and it will be interesting to see who they become.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is pleased with the players’ decisions and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to get a deal across the line. They still need to secure an agreement with the Portuguese costume.
Arsenal’s move is perfect for Viktor Gyoker
Swedish international is at the peak of his power, and he will want to compete at the highest level and regularly fight for major trophies. Arsenal is certainly better suited to fight for the trophy than Manchester United. They have consistently pushed league titles and did well in the UEFA Champions League last season.
Signing a world-class striker like Gyoker can help you take Arsenal to a whole new level and win silver products next season.
