Manchester United are linked to Paris Saint-Germain’s striker Goncalo Ramos’ move during the summer transfer.
According to United in Focus, they are being offered the opportunity to sign players this summer. The Striker took part in PSG in 2023 with a transaction worth around £65 million. However, he couldn’t contain his regular starting spot at the French club.
He may need to move on in search of regular playing times, and moving into the Premier League might be ideal for him.
Graeme Bailey told UIF:
“PSG has already told him he can leave this summer and he knows he’s not a critical part of the team. His people have spoken to a lot of clubs, one of them united.
“Can Ramos be United’s option? He’s said to be something that gets attention. The only problem is that he’s not that cheap, but United still knows he’s paying the right players.”
Ready to sell Goncalo Ramos
PSG has already informed players that they can leave the club freely this summer, and has told them they are talking to multiple clubs to ensure their movement. Manchester United need quality strikers in the summer, and Ramos could prove to be a useful acquisition.
The 23-year-old striker has 18 goals and six assists this past season. Ramos is also linked to Arsenal.
Players like Joshua Zilkies and Rasmus Hozilund are extremely overwhelming and Manchester United will have to trade them in the summer. They needed a reliable goal scorer, and Ramos had previously shown that he was able to score consistent goals in his time at Benfica.
Premier League regular football was able to bring out the best of him and help him get his career back on track.
PSG Ace may want to participate
Manchester United is the largest club in the world, and the opportunity to join them can be very exciting. The player reportedly had a great interest in joining Manchester United before moving on to PSG.
It is still unknown how the situation will develop.
Manchester United hopes to sign him for a reasonable amount. Given his situation at the French club, he is unlikely to be a premium.
