In need of an offensive overhaul, Manchester United reportedly can offer Rasmus Hojlund in a summer swap deal to sign an instant upgrade on Ruben Amorim and his side.
Amorim laments Man Utd’s aggressive struggle
Manchester United’s offensive issues have not been much better than how dangerous Harry Maguire is when leading the line, compared to the likes of Hodzilund and Joshua Zilkies against Nottingham Forest.
The central defender provided a physical presence that moved with Zirkzee and Hojlund lacked offensive intelligence, with both forwards not being able to display consistently this season.

Amorim also knows his team’s offensive struggles when asked what he needs to change after Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat against Forest. “Yes, because if you look at some games, you can’t create the situation they create. Your opponents sometimes create more opportunities and that wasn’t the case today.
“They managed to score one shot on goal and not score again. We have to improve in the last third. We’re improving the way we build. We’re pushing our opponents even further into their half, but we’re giving them a lot.”

The Red Devils managed to acquire a first-team player following a very disappointing performance against Nottingham Forest.
That improvement at this stage seems unlikely to come from relying on Hozilund and Zilkie, who are destined to end in an offensive overhaul at Old Trafford. And while it has not yet been seen who has arrived to resolve the Amorim problem, names like Benjamin Sesco and Sam Agehaho have already threatened to steal headlines or two.
While there is no doubt that both will offer an instant upgrade for United, questions remain about their ability to seduce such players in the current situation. Amidst that suspicion, the Red Devils appear to have become a closer option to the home.
Man Utd can offer Hojlund in Mateta Swap trading
Hojlund and Zirkzee have struggled this season, but Jean-Philippe Mateta continues to thrive and you may find yourself still heading towards Old Trafford this season.
According to the football relocation, Manchester United could even offer Rasmus Hozilund in a shockwap deal to sign Mateta this summer, and even get an immediate solution to Amorim’s offensive problems in the process.
The Frenchman, dubbed “surprising” by Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, surpasses the two struggling United strikers in his current campaign with 12 Premier League goals that provide ample evidence of his quality in his name.
The talk reportedly has already begun a move worth 50 million euros (£42 million) so INEO will be able to save some important funds by closing Hojlund’s Old Trafford Nightmare and signing Mateta this summer.
