He’s amazing with Cunha: Man Utd.A man who is paying attention to Italian defenders

Manchester United are now interested in signing a “strong” £38 million defender who will be seen live while active by Club Scouts, according to a recent report.

Despite the late signing of Bryan Mbeumo, it has been a productive transfer window for Red Devils so far, and they have added creativity and goals to the teams they lack in both. However, with more than a month of windows still remaining, United are still looking to be active in the market.

Manchester United is reportedly considering a move to sign a surprising star with Matheus Cunha.

According to catch-offside, Man United is currently in the race with Tottenham Hotspur and signing Alexander Mitrovich from Saudi Arabia’s Alhiral. Serbia International joined the Saudi Arabian side in August 2023, not surprising, but he continues to do an excellent goalscoring exploit. The forward scored 28 goals in 28 league matches in his first campaign, followed by 19 goals in 23 league matches last season.

Mitrovich is the latest striker to link to Old Trafford as he looks for No. 9 after the disappointment of Rasmus Hozilund and Joshua Zilky and has struggled to make a big impact in front of the goal.

Interest in Mitrovich comes after United has been confirmed to remain interested in signing Jamphilippe Mateta from Crystal Palace. The Red Devils are currently not interested in signing Nicholas Jackson and Ollie Watkins for the price.

Tackling United’s forward line looks like a top priority for Reuben Amorim, but the Portuguese is also considering how he can improve his defense. According to Tuttomercatoweb, broadcast by Sport Witness, Man United is one of the teams interested in signing Pietro Comuzzo at Fiorentina.

The 20-year-old, who played 33 times in Serie A last season, is catching the eye of not only United, but also Sunderland and Nottingham Forest. These three aspects of the UK show “strong interest,” but no one has made the centre-back offer yet.

Comuzzo, who joined Fiorentina at a young age, has signed a contract with the Italian side until 2029, and it has been previously reported that Fiorentina values the young £38 million centre-back in the region.

The Red Devils may have an advantage in the race to sign Comuzzo as it has already been reported that United sent scouts to see him active earlier this season.

Stefano Pioli, manager of new Fiorentina, spoke about Comuzzo about two weeks ago. “Comuzzo? He’s a strong player. He’s here to play in his place and become a starter.”
