Manchester United reportedly reached an agreement to sign a new advance with a similar transfer to that of the one that brought Paul Pogba to Old Trafford more than 15 years ago.
Preparing for the Europa League semi-finals at Man UTD Athletic Club
All of the focus of Reuben Amorim for the rest of the season is in the Europa League, with the Red Devils in the lower half of the Premier League table.
The last 1-0 loss to the wolves at Old Trafford included 20-year-old Tyler Fredrickson and 18-year-old Harry Anas at the departure XI.
Amorim stayed true to his words by playing the young youth off off on top flights as he prepares for the semi-finals of the La Liga Side Athletic Club and is about to reach the finals at Bilbao.
Following Man UTD’s Europa League quarter-final victory over Lyon, Amorim said: “It’s not the best or best moment to play some kids because we need a strong base to really show what kids can do, but at this moment we need to do it.
“And sometimes there’s a surprise. Aiden just played – and I got a lot of injuries in that moment, so I can be honest – but today I’m thinking of Aiden as my player. So when he’s ready – and of course he’s facing the competition to do so with a team – he’s ready to play.
“Amass really worked (against Lyon). Chido said he played very well when he played. It’s a difficult moment and it’s not the right moment for the kids to play, but if we have to do that, we do it.”
