Manchester United forward Amado Diallo has been taking action with an ankle injury since February and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Ivorian Starlet was one of the outstanding performers on the side of Ruben Amorim of the Premier League before his season-ending injury, providing assists from wide positions in all competitions with nine goals and seven assists.

United hopes he will return from injury to bring that form into the 2025/26 campaign and beyond as he could become the club’s future star.

Despite his impressive form for the Red Devils this season, Amado is not among the fewest earners on the team, paying £120,000 a weekly wage.

As can be seen in the table below, the left footed wizard simply splits the top 10 lists underneath those who are bitpart players for most of the season or are not available such as Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount.

We also see that Swedish central defender Victor Lindroff earns as much as Diallo in a week. Manchester United will have to finally x him out of the summer transfer window when his contract expires.

Football Fancast’s Wage Burner Series explores the salary of modern games.

His current deal is expected to disappear at the end of June, and Amorim should cut him from the group. Because he has already emitted millions of clubs on wages throughout his career.

How much money Victor Lindelof earned in Man Utd

Manchester United plummeted to sign centre-backs from Benfica with a reporting fee of £31 million reported in the summer of 2017, and earned more of its transfer fees in wages over the next eight years.

As you can see in the table above, Lindelof has already earned more than £40 million in wages during his time at Old Trafford so far, and has reported a wage of £4664 million by the end of this year’s contract.

This totals a total of £77.64 million, including his transfer fees, and the 30-year-old has only played more than 30 league matches in two of his eight seasons at Manchester.

He has only started two of his eight appearances in the Premier League this season, and is an alternative that has not been used 11 times in all competitions, indicating that the experienced defender is at best a bit of a part-time player under Amorim.

It compares it to the importance of Amado Diallo to the team at the same week’s wages as the aforementioned goals and assists, which shows why United will ultimately have to say goodbye to Swedish International this summer.

The Red Devils now want to make a big offer to forwards who are “fully” fit into Amorim’s system.

Amorim will need to move him out of Old Trafford when his contract expires. He tries to bring in an alternative that will become part of his plan, as the club doesn’t provide good value for the wages he is paying him.
