Why do men need a new striker?Man Utd discusses for a new strikerWhat Hugo Echicque brings to Man UnitedAmorim’s Cunha 2.0: Man Utd in talks to sign “Unstoppable” £35m star

Manchester United finished 15th in the Premier League last season and focused on the word “last.”

Reuben Amorim didn’t etch his words while talking about the need to turn things around and use 2024/25. And all the baggage that comes with it has finally ended these endless annoyances against one of the game’s biggest superpowers as a springboard for the future.

Frontline revisions have always been one of the main priorities on the part of Old Trafford, with Ineos starting a strong foothold there, signing Matthew Scoona of the Wolverhampton Wanderers at a rate of £62.5 million, while Brazil rejected interest from Premier League recruiters to join the Red Devil.

Brentford’s Brian Mbemo’s efforts are underway, but Pointer has expressed his desire to burn the switch, suggesting that the front on the right will join Amorim’s team in the coming weeks.

All this is good and good, but Man United still needs to sign a central striker.

Why do men need a new striker?

On all accounts, Amorim wanted to start a preseason where Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho were all sold. That didn’t happen, and they all told them the hierarchy they wanted to leave.

Perhaps there is Rasmus Hozilund’s ongoing presence in Man United’s senior team.

The 22-year-old Danish striker was so extraordinary last year that he was deeply connected to the summer exit, and Inter Milan is most interested in his signature.

Hojlund is clearly a talented advance, but it might be a good idea for him to leave after such a fierce run in his recent campaign. Especially because Sir Jim Ratcliffe openly admitted that the young talent was inherited from past administrations and that he “has to sort it out.”

Well, whether Hojlund goes or not, United’s move in the market so far suggests that the central frontman is on the agenda.

And they have been locked up in consultation for one of the best Europe has to offer.

Man Utd discusses for a new striker

According to Talksport, Manchester United is conducting a new survey this summer with Hugo Ekitike, one of the hottest products on the market, Eintracht Frankfurt Frankfurt Forward Forward.

Ekitike has been coveted by many Premier League sides this summer, with United taking an interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

However, as the gunner approaches Gyoker, Jason Wilcox may feel he has a good shot in securing the signature of the talented Frenchman.

Frankfurt treasures their men for 100 million euros (£85 million).

What Hugo Echicque brings to Man United

Ekitike is only 22 years old, but as analyst Ben Matinson said, he already established himself as “one of the best strikers out there.”

After leaving Paris Saint-Germain for Frankfurt in January 2024, he initially lended out, and he scored 22 goals in all competitions last season, supplying 12 assists in 48 games.

Ekitique’s natural finishing ability is neat, but his high speed movement and overall presence in the final third meant that journalist Graeme Bailey dubbed him “Next MBappe.”

Last season, Old Trafford had a lack of runners and confidence. Add mbeumo and Ekitike will do amazing things, create a will to win, and that will pour into the rest of the team.

He certainly plays at a better level than Hojlund, and in that sense he can prove that Mbeumo is the perfect center forward to rekindle a unified attack.

Very comprehensively, Hojlund was overtaken by his French counterpart, like bark from a tree in the sun’s weather.

Ekitike’s dynamic movements and innate creative talent suggest that they are perfect for wide-forwards focused on goals such as Cunha and Mbeumo.

Of course, Mbeumo is not just about scoring. The Cameroonians scored seven assists in the Premier League last season, creating 17 big opportunities throughout the campaign, and averaged 1.8 key passes per game according to Sofa Scole.

A key pass is a pass that directly scores the opponent’s goal.

He also has equipment around Rangy Striker providers as needed to end the campaign ranked among the top 9% of the Premier League and attack midfielders and wingers of completed crosses per 90 (FBREF).

The fact that the Red Devils tweaked their strategy and, alongside rising phenoms from overseas like Ekitique, along with rising phenoms in the new era, inspired by the struggles of recent years, ensure that corners are turned, is the fact that they tweaked their strategy.

United were in their Nadir last season and there was no mistake. But Amorim is a tactician worthy of his salt, and he may connect a team that can compete on the top once more with people like Mbeumo playing with Ekitique’s perfect frontman.

Let’s see how this will pan out over the next few weeks.
