Roberts said both Tommy Edman and Heisen Kim looked healthy, and the taxi outfield duo would likely return to Oklahoma City.
If one or both Edman and Kim had to be on the injured list, Lewis and Outman were on the team. Edman tweaked his ankles earlier this week.
As for Kim, the Utility Man appeared to be feeling some pain after fouling the ball from his foot, but Roberts insisted he was fine.
In nine major league games this season, Outman hit .125 on two home runs, four runs hit, and OPS is .597. The 28-year-old figure is far better with .271 at 181 at-bats with 12 home runs, 42 RBI and triple-A OKC.
Lewis had a locker at the Clubhouse on Wednesday. Kim wasn’t even in the lineup on Wednesday. However, it appears that neither player is interested.
This season, Lewis has hit .274 on three home runs, 30 RBIs and 27 stolen bases for OKC. The acquired outfielders from athletics through trade in April.
