Liverpool may finally be nearing completion of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerquez’s transfer contract.
The Reds are strongly tied to Kerquez by the Guardian and others after his impressive form in the Premier League with Cherry last season.
It hasn’t been officially announced yet, so we still don’t know how close this is to being completed, but perhaps we’ve only given a clue.
As Metro reported, there is a building up of excitement among Liverpool fans as Kerquez just left Hungarian national team camp for unspecified reasons.
It doesn’t seem to be because of an injury, or anyone who imagines the Hungarian manager said so could mean he’s left to secure his move to Liverpool.
Milos Kerquez appears to be an exciting signature for Liverpool
Kerquez has shown tremendous potential at Bournemouth, and it seemed inevitable for a while for a larger club to eventually snap him up.
Now it appears that the LFC is moving to bring the 21-year-old as Andrew Robertson’s much-needed successor.
Robertson has been a great servant of Liverpool for many years, but he appears to have aged and pass through the peak of his power.
In contrast, Kerquez appears to have his best year before him, so now it seems to be the ideal time for him to join.
Liverpool makes changes with fullback
The pairing of Trent Alexander Arnold on the right back and Robertson on the left back was key to Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp.
But now everything is changing in that region of the team as the Merseyside giants have lost Alexander Arnold to Real Madrid this summer.
With Jeremie Frimpong’s signature announced, the Trent on the right will need to replace the Robertson on the left immediately.
These seem like great signatures, but it’s not easy to meet the very high standards set by Alexander-Arnold and Robertson.
