Manchester City scored two goals within 20 minutes of a clash with Crystal Palace at Etihad on Saturday. That’s when Kevin De Bruin, who left the club at the end of the season, showed his quality by providing goals and assisting the team to overturn the contest.
Naturally, when the departing player proves his class once more, the question is that someone step into his shoes when he is gone. Some hope for 22-year-old James McAtee to step up, but manager Pep Guardiola is reluctant to put such a burden of expectations on his players’ shoulders.
