Manchester City has been having a tough season, and behind the scenes we expect to be extremely busy during the summer transfer, especially when it comes to removing players head coach Pep Guardiola who no longer wants.
It’s no secret that Manchester City wants to remove a few players this summer as Guardiola aims to renew his team after a difficult campaign. Turned over to move to South America, Kevin de Bruin will almost certainly be moving, but there are some possibilities to chase him through the exit door at Etihad Stadium.
With Manchester City moving forward, Guardiola’s team will look completely different by the time next season begins in August.
Manchester City Planning Squad is a 10 exit so ull
That’s because Foot Mercart reported that Manchester City has identified 10 players they are trying to eliminate this summer. De Bruyne was alone, with more heavyweights including Ederson, John Stones, Bernardo Silva and Jeremy Doku. Similarly, there is a desire to break up with Stephen Ortega, Mateo Kovacic, Ilkai Gandogan, Jack Grelish and James McAtee.
It’s a very bold Manchester City that will move through some of these names this summer. I understand De Bruyne, Gundogan, Kovacic, Grealish, etc., but things like Stones and Doku are probably surprising to supporters.
Manchester City appears to be one of the teams to watch during the summer 2025 transfer window as they aim to return to the Premier League title race next season.
