Manchester United are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham.
The 20-year-old is highly rated in European countries and is expected to develop into a top-class player. He hasn’t had the best of time at the German club and has struggled to earn regular minutes. Unsurprisingly, he has been linked with a return to England.
There are also rumors of a loan move to Bellingham.
Manchester United keen on Jobe Bellingham
According to Viharges, Manchester United consider him a priority target and are prepared to offer €50 million to sign him. It will be interesting to see if the German club is willing to sell the player in January.
There is no doubt that Bellingham is a young player with a promising future. He has been described as a “complete package” in the past. He will add creativity, control, drive and goals to Manchester United’s midfield. They are looking to build a strong team for the future and signing a promising young talent like him would be a wise decision.
Bellingham has been likened to Frank Lampard.
A move to Manchester United could be ideal for Bellingham
The midfielders will also be desperately trying to play regular football. If Manchester United can give him the security he needs, he will be tempted to join Manchester United. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and could provide him with a platform to showcase his qualities in the Premier League.
Playing regular football in England will accelerate his development and bring out the best in him. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop. There has been tension between the player’s camp and the German club in recent weeks. Dortmund may look to cash in if a lucrative offer is on the table.
Manchester United have shown improvement in recent weeks and are hoping to build on that with quality signings in January.
