Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Crystal Palace central defender Marc Gehi. TBR.
Guehi’s contract with Palace expires at the end of this season and the England central defender has decided not to pen down a new contract with last season’s FA Cup winner.
Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are already keen to sign Guehi, with Manchester United also joining the race.
Journalist Graham Bailey said: Marc Guehi will be one of the Bosman’s most sought-after players on a free transfer That’s what it looks like now.
“He is currently wanted by all the major clubs in England, including Manchester United, but overseas he is being watched by some of the biggest names in world football, from Real Madrid and Barcelona to Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. He will make his choice.
“But I’ve been told he’s as relaxed as he is on the pitch. He reflects that off the pitch as well, which is another big part of his appeal. His personality is a big reason why all these clubs would have no hesitation in signing him.”
