I always felt that he was a hypocrite – Manoj Tiwaly
Manoj Tiwary and Gautam Gambhir do not share a good relationship, with the former having announced many brutal verbal attacks against the Indian head coach.
In the latest, he spoke about Gautam Gambir’s remarks. He said India should strictly avoid international matches with Pakistan until cross-border terrorism ceases.
Manoj Tiwary said Gautam Gambhir should step down from his post as head coach in India and stick to his position not to play against Pakistan.
“I always felt he was a hypocrite. He is a hypocrite because he said when India was not the coach of Team India, India and Pakistan said that they should never play a match between them. What will he do now?
“I’m playing with Pakistan, so can’t he just step down and say I’m not part of Team India?” he added.

Tiwaly also spoke about Gautam Gambir’s old remarks that have gone viral.
He highlighted how Gautam Ganbil shuts out Yashasvi Jaiswar from India’s Asian Cup 2025 team despite demanding position in the previous set-up.
“He is the person who said that Yashasvi Jaiswal is one of the future players of Team India and is someone who doesn’t stay outside the T20. He shouldn’t stay outside the T20.
“So, apart from these few statements he said, I always felt he was a hypocrite, except that he just did the opposite,” he added.
