Jonathan David has finished his contract with Losc Lille and therefore became a free agent this summer, and under such circumstances, the Canadian striker is naturally attracting the attention of many top clubs. According to RMC Sport, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Olympic Marseille are all interested in his services on free transfers.
Apart from the lack of need to pay relocation fees, David’s age (25) and his quality as a rather versatile and efficient offensive player makes him a very attractive prospect for any potential suitor.
David joined KAA Gent’s reel in 2020 for a reporting fee of 27 million euros. He is a constant performer on the League One side, and in 2024/25 he has scored 25 goals and 11 assists in 46 matches in all previous competitions.
