The Miami Heat receives from Giannis Antetocompo about a verdict from former player Mario Chalmers.
Playing for the Miami Heat is often thought to be a dream come true for NBA superstars. First of all, the idea of playing in Miami is interesting.
But even more importantly, players and fans have heard countless stories about the more well-known heat culture than ever before.
As a result, many top-notch free agents and dissatisfied stars are associated with fever. The same was true for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetocomo.
The past three years have not been great for Antetokounmpo and Bucks. I will not deny that. That said, Giannis is expected to leave the team that drafted him this summer.
Many teams have been proposed as potential destinations for Greek freaks, including heat. Given the heat, Jimmy Butler swapped for the Golden State Warriors after a massive dropout, he landed people like Antetocomo and sent a wave of happiness to the heat fan base.
However, former member of the team, Mario Chalmers, is opposed to the idea that Giannis would be traded with heat. He provided a reason to be inspired by Pat Riley behind his take on the Night Cap Podcast.
“No one can play for putts. You can see Giannis coming to Miami, but I don’t think he’ll do that. I think he’ll stay in Milwaukee.
He added:
Playing under Riley is not an easy task, as seen in both LeBron James and Butler’s case. Chalmers also believes that the 2X NBA MVP has no chance of winning in Miami, even if he was traded there.
Chalmers initially insisted that Bucks and Antetokounmpo would find a way to stay together, but he quickly changed his mind.
“I can say I’m Miami, I’m not going to object. His Bam (Adebayo) and Tyler Hero, that’s going to be a better team,” Chalmers said.
To be honest, there are too many unknown variables before predicting Giannis’ fit in Miami. For example, playing the duo of Adebayo and Antetokounmpo could lead to a lack of paint space.
