Mark Marquez points out one round of the most obvious differences between Ducati and Honda.
Marquez enjoyed a glorious year at Honda, winning six MotoGP titles.
However, as their projects declined, Ducati’s Desmosedici took over.
A few years later, Mark Marquez is riding a Ducati factory bike and once again heads the MotoGP rankings.
He spoke to Motorsport about the difference between riding a qualifying lap on both bikes.
“From the corner, it’s a Ducati,” he said.
“It’s a way to time, and at Honda, it’s the first part of the corner.
“If you’re fast at the beginning of a corner, you’re faster.
“The opposite is true at Ducati. Be careful in the first part. After that, the time lag is at the exit.
“You should go on Honda and try managing the exit.
“Ducati, manage your entries and press exit.”
Mark Marquez will change “just the moment”

Marquez was asked to give advice to the younger version of himself, who won the 125cc title.
“Prepare yourself,” he said.
“After that, everything was a dream.
“I’ll change a moment in my career.
“Leave? I’ll say I’ll follow your instincts, and everything will be good.”
The moment Marquez hopes he will get back almost sacrificed his career.
“When I returned to Jerez,” he said in 2020 about his premature comeback.
“I was injured for six months.
“It was a mistake from everyone, but I made the final decision and the responsibility is the same as me.
“The arms work well, but they’re not the same as they were five years ago.
“As I have shown, it is acceptable to be competitive on a bike.
“Do you need to adjust anything else? Yes, but the final result is there.”
After four rounds of the 2025 MotoGP season, Marquez won seven of his eight races.
It just crashed while leading the US MotoGP two seconds each, and so far it took a clean sweep.
