Marc Marquez predicts that Mandalica and Sepang should prove the most difficult round of the highway sequence when they close at the 2025 MotoGP Crown.
The Ducati Lenovo rider suffered in the first sprint fall of the year at Misano, but his victory at the Grand Prix meant he left San Marino without losing the ground to the Alex brothers.
The last time Mark Marquez was discontinued by Gresini Ryder was in Geres in April.
Mark has increased or maintained his advantage by heading to Japan with a 182-point lead in the 182 rounds and his first title chance of the season.

“I’ve never finished.”
Motegi also launched a series of “flyaway” events, followed by Mandalica, Philip Island and Sepang.
Asked which one thinks is the most difficult, the winners of 11 and 14 of the 16 GP answered. “Mandalica, Sepang.
“Mandalica, let’s see if we can compete for victory this year, but at this point we’ve never finished the Grand Prix race!”
Mandalica took part in the MotoGP calendar in 2022. Marquez suffered a concussion after a massive high side in the warm-up. Declared unsuitable for race, he was later diagnosed with a new episode of Diplopia.
In 2023, Marquez crashed from both the Indonesian sprint and Grand Prix races in his final season at Repsol Honda.
The Spaniard reached the checkered flag for the first time in the Mandalica, finishing third in last year’s Gresini Ducati sprint, and was kicked out of Sunday’s race due to an engine failure.
“It’s the first time we’re finishing Sunday’s race, so let’s see if we can get on the podium,” Marquez said.
In addition to claiming the first Red Bull Ring victory of the season, the first victory at the Balaton Park event, Mandalica and Portimao are currently the only venues on the current calendar that Marquez has not acquired.

Meanwhile, Marquez won two wins from his 10 appearances at Malaysia’s MotoGP in 2014 and 2018.
“So, Mandalica, along with Sepang, is probably the most difficult track, but you never know.
“(Misano) was my favorite track, but Betzekki is faster than me and is very equal on the same level.
“In every race, there are people who are very fast. The most important thing is to be with the people at the top.”
Alex Marquez (Jeres, Catalonia), Marco Betzecchi (Silverstone), Francesco Bagnaia (COTA) and Johann Zarco (Le Mans) are the only Grand Prix winners so far this season.
