He is warned that Mark Marquez must avoid the issues that have devastated Pecco Bagnaia.
Championship battles are alive. Alex Marquez is topped with Motogup’s ranking before the race begins at Le Mans this weekend.
Mark Marquez is shy about his brother due to two Grand Prix crashes in Texas and Jerez.
The latest incident in Jerez is a reminder to Marquez. He reminds me that Bagnaia, a Ducati teammate at the factory, is not sucked into the difficult battle that he fought all year round.
“When I put Marc Marquez in traffic…”

“It’s going to focus Marquez’s mind,” Dona reporter Louis Sudabie told Le Mans.
“He said the crash at Jerez didn’t lead to lack of concentration.
“He knows he is beaten early on and can’t afford to find a bike between himself and the race leader.
“He went third or fourth. An incredible first-lap fight with Pecco Bagnaia. He made some punches on him. We saw contact between them.
“But when you put Marquez in traffic, he started riding behind someone else. He has hot air from the bike in front of him. Pecco said it was the root of his problem.
“Pecco said, ‘Now Mark knows how I feel.’
“Mark won the pole position and before the race in the sprint, he’s even more enthusiastic if it’s dry on Sunday, not where the bike came to Zeres before him.”
Mark Marquez said, “Would you ride inside me?”
Jack Applied said: “At the Geres point, we didn’t lap behind the other riders to understand how the bike had changed.
“He might do four laps, five or six laps behind another rider to understand how his bike behaves.”
Appleyard added:
“In Jerez, he spoke after the test. He said he spent 24 hours pondering it and pushing beyond his limits.
“We’re watching Mark ride inside him on Sunday now? He knows that if he wants to win this championship he can’t crash as often as he has ever done.”
The only two Grand Prix that Marquez couldn’t win was when he crashed.
Bagnaia and Alex Marquez benefited from these cases and were able to continue their title fight.
