Mark Marquez explained his conversation with Jorge Martin while the Motogue world champion was injured.
Jorge Martin, who took part in the Aprilia race this season after winning the 2024 title at Pramac Ducati, missed almost all of his preseason tests after crashing on the first day of the Sepang test in February.
The Spanish rider was forced to miss the opening three rounds of the season when he crashed and broke a bone while training before the opening Grand Prix in Thailand.
When Martin returned to Qatar, his third injury was maintained, where he crashed in the race and was attacked by Fabio di Giannantonio.
Martin returned to MotoGP again at Brno this weekend, saying at a press conference at the Czech Grand Prix on Thursday that he spoke with Mark Marquez while he was recovering.

Missing almost everything in the 2020 season, Marquez explained that his humerus had broken and that he had tried to use his own experience of serious injuries to encourage recovery in 2021 and 2022, with some races due to injuries following that first arm injury.
“Jorge (Martin) is of course an opponent, but in the end he’s a rider, a very good rider and a champion,” Mark Marquez told Motogp.com.
“So, as MotoGP ‘parts’, we liked to take everyone there and I understood the feeling of being home with a lot of injuries to his body.
“I tried to be honest and give him the best, but in those cases, the people around him are the people who make a difference.”
Martin finished the first day of practice with the fifth fastest Brno, but Marquez was all fast.
