LeBron James will soon play in the 23rd NBA season of his career, but that’s no coincidence.
The NBA is home to some of the world’s most talented basketball players. Obviously, reaching the league is an insanely difficult task.
But what’s even more difficult? Well, being one of the top players in the league for over 20 years.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James did just that as he broke a ton of NBA records during his journey.
Former NBA player Markieff Morris had the opportunity to share the court with James in 83 games over three seasons.
During his stint with the Lakers, Morris realized that fans rarely notice LBJ. He made a revelation to the “Million Dororas Equivalent Game” podcast.
“Bron. I’ll say what it looks like to break down the hardest workers, movies, notes, statistics, etc. Bron will do that.
He added: “I think he is the hardest working worker. We came to the locker room, he was here four hours before us and I’m working hard.”
Dominating the NBA for over 20 years has been Hercules’ challenge, but James did it thanks to his incredible work ethic.
For the past seven seasons, James has been a major superstar in purple and gold. However, with the arrival of Luka Doncic, the Lakers quickly moved away from the cornerstone superstar.
It is clear from LBJ choosing his $52.6 million player option for the 2025-26 season.
GM Rob Pelinka hopes Lebron will retire as Laker, but the media has completely different opinions about it. For example, Charles Barkley believes the Lakers are no longer James’s team and need to move on.
Similarly, Joe Johnson believes James should demand trade from the Golden State Warriors. why? Because he believes that the 40-year-old would be better off getting another ring with Stephen Curry.
Currently, James has not officially expressed his desire to leave the Lakers as he continues to focus on keeping himself in shape in the NBA 23 years ago.
