Mason Jones delivered an incredible comeback TKO against Boraj Oki at UFC Paris on Saturday night.
Oki rocked early on Jones after landing the combination near the cage, but it didn’t take long for the “dragon” to turn the script over. Jones unleashed a barrage of elbows, but Oki weathered the storm and escaped from his position.
Jones eventually takes himself north and south position and is trapped in Kimura, but Oki supplies power and ultimately survives the round.
Jones continued to dominate on the mat, slamming Oki hard onto the canvas two minutes after the second stanza, and quickly moved to full mount. Jones dropped some of the Hellers’ elbows, urging the judge to see better. Oki defended as much as he could, but without improving his position, the judge finally intervened and called for a halt.
Official Results: Mason Jones Deff. Bolaji oki via TKO (elbow) at 3:18 of round 2.
