After annoyed 29 games of batting, the power hitter appears to have taken his first step to break through his recession. Muncie was visibly relieved as he rounded up the base and his home run drought was over.

“Playing in LA is not easy,” Muncie said honestly after the game. “It’s a privilege, and playing under this pressure is a privilege. It’s something I’ve always thrived. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy for me or my family.”
Despite the cold start of the season, Muncie’s future with the could be safe at least in another season. In a conversation with Nation’s Doug McKain, MLB insider Bob Nightengale said he thinks Muncy will stay in LA at least for another season.
“I think (I think he’s back next season), so picking up $10 million is easy,” Knight Engale said. “They just do it, play it with their ears and see what happens after the end of 2026. He clearly loves there. They love him.
The hope their All-Star three-base moves will continue his power surge in the upcoming series held in Atlanta.
