I think Mike Schilt is now familiar with Andy Page.

On Monday night, Page was hit by Dylan’s halt fastball, and the young outfielder stared at the right-handed pitcher before walking to base.

The bullpen was potentially ready to fight, but the tension didn’t boil.

But when the page went down to base, Padres manager Mike Schilt saw him screaming from “Who do you think is who?” He hints at the fact that he is not one of the ‘ major players.

The page seemed to take it personally.

On Tuesday, Page was 4-4, 4-4 with two home runs and three RBIs in the ‘ 8-6 victory over the Padres.

After the game, he revealed that he saw a video of Silt, but did not use it as an additional motivation.

“Yeah, I actually saw it this morning,” Page said through an interpreter. “Obviously, I wasn’t paying much attention to that. I left yesterday’s game behind and focused on today.”

While Page went on a high path, All-Star three-base hand Max Mancy didn’t turn off Shild too easily.

“I think Andy spoke on his own today,” Muncie said. “I think Andy told him who he is today.”

Page is quietly creating an All-Star case as he is currently fourth among NL outfielders with home runs (15) and RBIS (49). He generated 2.9 FWAR (T-5th out of NL Outfields) and 3.2 Bwar (T-3rd). He is also one of the best defenders in MLB, ranking above average in the 95th percentile and 97th percentile for arm value, per baseball savant.

Andy Page believed the Padres intentionally attacked him on the pitch on Monday.

Mike Schilt answered by yelling, “Who do you think is who?”

Manny Machado said the Padres won’t hit the page as there are other “big dogs” in Los Angeles.

Page may not be one of the ‘ “big dogs,” but he was one of the best and consistent players of the year.

If he didn’t know much about Sildo entering the series, he certainly is.

“He had a great ball game,” Schilt said of the post-match page. “I shook the bat well. I put a hat on him.”
