“It all feels good. It’ll be available tomorrow,” Muncie said during media availability on Monday.

Muncie has dealt with his considerable injuries this season, dating back to the beginning of July, a horrifying knee injury has sidelined him for just over a month, with just eight games missing nearly a month with oblique injuries. After that, in just 11 games, Azalea missed the final four games of the season.
After a considerable slump to start the season, after hitting .188 in his first 30 games, Muncie began to understand things. After sports glasses to deal with astigmatism in the right eye towards the end of April, the third base hand was electric.
He has a slash line of .295/.432/.596 with OPS of 1.027 when he collapsed from an oblique injury from Game 31 of Muncie’s season.
Things weren’t so great for the triple base hand, 11 games since he returned from his diagonal injury, and until his feet sidelined him earlier this month. Muncie hits just .118 with 10 strikeouts over that span and has an OPS of .562.
Overall, Muncy has bolstered its highest end-of-year batting average (.243) at the OPS+ 136 since 2021, nearly 40% higher than the league average. Muncie also finished in the 99th percentile on the walk percentage.
The value that the slugging three-base hand brings from simply being present on the plate, bringing out the walks and knowing when and where his pitch is (sitting in the 94th percentile in chase percentage) only makes him such a scary batsman in October. When he taps back to a production that he has been exhibiting since May, the will benefit greatly from postseason runs.
