
Four-time world champion Max Verstappen is the latest F1 figure that links with investments in the MotoGP team.
A few days after it was confirmed that Ex-F1 Team Manager Guenther Steiner had acquired the Tech3 team, skysport.it state:
“Max Verstappen reportedly sells 100% of the stock, knocking on Honda and Aprilia’s doors through his entourage and father Joss, indirectly measuring the willingness of their respective satellite teams, LCR and Truckhouse.”
However, both LCR founder Lucio Cecchinello and truck house owner Justin Marks are said to not want to sell.
“Max’s dream doesn’t seem to come true anytime soon. The Red Bull driver has to wait for someone to grant him (for location) on the grid (for location).”
Verstappen’s MotoGP interest rumours have linked rival Lewis Hamilton with the Grescini team, following previous speculation.
Sky The current value of the MotoGP team is estimated to be 25 million euros, but “prices could rise significantly following the acquisition of LibertyMedia’s commercial rights in sports.”
