Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is currently on the Nike World Tour.
As part of his world tour, Ja Morant recently made a stop in Asia. As expected, the Memphis Grizzlies star attracted a large crowd.
The key reason behind this is Morant’s explosive playing style. This is full of high-flying movements with high athleticism in hardwood.
There is no doubt about Morant’s skills, but Grizzlies Star has played just 59 games in the past two seasons.
He has fought multiple injuries. Therefore, assume that a 25-year-old child will continue to care for him, especially during the offseason.
However, Morant suffered a fatal injury during his Nike World Tour and skated when he attempted a dunk.
Grizzlies fans quickly responded to the current clip, which has earned thousands of views on X.
“Man, it could have been a torn ACL,” fans wrote. Another was added, but “the whole franchise has just flashed its eyes.”
“Bro really needs to retire from dunking,” the third fan added.
“Memphis is trying to close all of this,” the fourth fan said.
“We almost lost JA in the offseason,” a Grizzlies fan wrote.
With the number of torn Achilles and ACL injuries increasing, athletes need to take better care of their bodies. Had Morant been injured at the end of the season, the Grizzlies fanbase would have been in a hellish scene.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry recently claimed that Morant is currently the most athletic player in the NBA.
Obviously, that is due to Morant’s ability to finish a difficult play on the rim. However, dunking can consistently shorten the longevity of players.
Fans have already seen it with the likes of Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook. With that in mind, it appears that Morant announced a no-dunk policy last season.
However, since then, there have been multiple instances when Morant tried to throw a hammer in. The incident on the Nike World Tour was another example.
