New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is out of Thursday’s lineup for the series finale against the Los Angeles . Lindor has broken toes on his right little finger, labeling himself like he does on a daily basis.

Lindor was attacked by a slider from right-handed Tony Gonzolin in the first innings of Wednesday’s defeat. Lindor became visibly annoyed after Gonsorin attacked him on the second pitch of the game alone.
It appears that both national league powers are dealing with shortstop injuries in this series. Mookie Betts deals with toe injuries that kept him locked out of a lineup of four games, including Monday’s series Opener Again The Mets.

Lindor has hit .279 with 14 home runs and has 36 runs hit, with an OPS of .843 this season. In this series against the , the Mets’ shortstop was 13-4. He hit a leadoff home run from Dustin May in Monday’s series opener.
Gonsorin allowed three runs (two) in a 6-1 loss to the Mets on Thursday. The right-hander threw six strikeouts and issued three walks.
