Miami Heat fans are supporting Bam Adebayo after putting pressure on team president Pat Riley.
The smart move to add Davion Mitchell wasn’t enough to save Pat Riley from Cole to put his role aside in the Miami Heat.
Fans vented their frustration with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the series.
Riley, 80, witnessed a mediocre season of heat that cast a shadow over the exit of the team’s biggest star, Jimmy Butler.
And the big swing outlook in the offseason looks bleak as rival teams make full-scale restructuring appealing, as they have better assets.
After the Miami Heat Game 4 blowout against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Bum Adebayo issued a warning to his teammates.
Adebayo argued that no one was safe as he hopes Riley will make a big difference in the offseason.
Heat Stars spoke to the media on April 30th, with an Exit interview closing the season.
When asked what had changed during the offseason, Adebayo quickly flipped the question towards Riley with a small suspension.
He replied: “At the end of the day, I want to win. So I can’t really go to fine tweak and all logistics. That’s Pat Reilly’s question.
“And I hope you can ask him that question, and he won’t blow you away and ignore you.
“He knows my mentality. He wants us to win.”
The language and tone of Bam Adebayo’s comments was a real topic among the already frustrating Miami Heat fanbase.
One wrote: “That’s what my franchise players apply that pressure,” another said, “Yup Bam is tired of just keeping it running continuously.”
Another fan wrote, comparing it to Jimmy Butler, “The same S___Jimmy said he was LMFAO. This team is cooked.”
“Dam Bam!! Man, take that butler path!!” he wrote.
Posted by the fifth fan. “I don’t know what tone Bam used, but it sounds like Riley is also calling for accountability.
“I’m so glad that Bam has taken his position as captain and is using the hopeful spark change internally. Hopefully, it works.”
Another expressed fear to Adebayo, saying, “Bro finally decided to speak up and ask for help, and if Pat traded him for this, then the funniest s___ in the world would be.”
Pat Riley hasn’t dealt with the media yet, but it is expected that he has something to say, but when he does, there are many questions about the Heat’s plans, and perhaps his own personal future.
